COACHING NEWS

Brushy signs on as assistant while Hawaiian back with Crocs.

Five-time A Section premiership player Andrew Brushfield, recently retuned from a stint as a professional surfer in Hong Kong, will step into the assistants' role vacated by Pat Hawkins.

Senior coach Simon Lethlean announced tonight that Brushfield will take charge of the defenders, which is a relief to all those who saw him play the forward line in a 2003 experiment under Michael Sholly.

The Crocs search for a new coach continues, as apparently no-one has yet been informed that the great man, the Large Hawaiian Andrew Hall, will again take the reins.

The position of U19 2s coach is still to be filled.
